Chester House Hotel

In Chester House Hotel and Restaurant BREAKFAST is served in The Garden Room at the hotel from 8am till 10 am, in The Croft until 12noon. The hotel bar and lounge, is open from 9am for MORNING COFFEE and LUNCH until 5pm daily. The bar is open for drinks and cocktails every EVENING until 11pm.

BREAKFAST is served in The Croft Restaurant on the water front from 9am till 12noon. LUNCH and DINNER is served until 8pm in off season, 9.30pm during the season. LIGHT BITES and CAKES are served throughout the  day.

WONDERFULLY DECORATED ROOMS – The entire hotel is tastefully decorated, from the bar and restaurants to the hotel rooms and restrooms.

No two rooms are the same, all are a mix of interesting and contemporary wall papers and restored furniture alongside the more standard hotel room fixtures like comfortable beds and flat screen TV’s.

DOGS WELCOME – A number of the rooms in The Chester House Hotel are dog friendly – these have hardwood floors rather than carpeted ones. And now, if you’re worrying about getting cold feet, don’t… a pair of complimentary slippers can be found in these rooms for you to warm your feet. Dogs are also welcome in the hotel, there’s even a table for you in the back of the lobby, where dogs are welcome to sit with you while you eat.

KIDS WELCOME TOO – Kids are made very welcome at The Chester House Hotel. There are special Family Rooms and a nice corner of the lounge with toys and lovely things for kids on the menu.

Chester House offers 22 bedrooms, all en suite and decorated in a contemporary country style. The hotel offers a variety of rooms, from the romantic deluxe rooms with four-poster bed to larger family rooms that can sleep up to four. All rooms are centrally heated and h

ave direct dial telephones, colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer available for your comfort. There are ground floor rooms suitable for wheelchair and disabled access and one room with a roll in shower.

The hotel offers WIFI and upon request, travel cots and extra blankets, baby monitors as well as sterilizer equipment.

To help you relax and unwind even more, the hotel’s resident Beauty Therapist, Sadie Brewin, is available for treatments in the comfort of your own room. For hotel guests she offers a wide range of popular treatments from massages to manicures, pedicures and facials, to name just a few.

TRADITIONAL AND HEARTY FOOD ON THE MENU – The food served at The Chester House Hotel is traditional and hearty dishes, all at very reasonable prices. The Chester House Hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as cakes, coffees and light bites. We LOVED the Bailey’s Chocolate Mousse… it’s big enough to share, but why would you want to?

L’ANATRA ITALIAN RESTAURANT – Chester House Hotel is home to Bourton-on-the-Water’s only Italian Restaurant. The restaurant offers classic Italian cooking at it’s very best and even has a great TAKE AWAY service. L’Anatra is the perfect place for a family lunch, a gathering of friends or a romantic evening meal. With a varied menu along with daily specials it will not disappoint!
