The original part of the hotel was built in 1798 and this listed building located has been sensitively transformed to retain the character and charm that is the stamp of Hotel du Vin. Used in many different ways over the years, from a doctor’s surgery during and after WW2, to a ‘Gentleman’s Club’, and most recently the town registry office – Hotel du Vin Stratford-upon-Avon will become the perfect backdrop for after work drinks, a spot of afternoon tea or relaxed bistro dining, served alongside an extensive wine cellar that is perfectly matched by our years of experience in providing great hospitality.

Each of our stunning bedrooms are designed with colourful accents and stylish wooden furniture to complement the dark greys, navy and green colour palette. This is a place where nouveau meets old, mixing modernist building and older charm, with rooms offering different characteristics and views. All the bedrooms feature a luxurious handsprung Sealy mattress, fine Egyptian cotton linen, powerful drench shower, luxury toiletries, HD flatscreen TV with Chromecast and including Sky TV and BT Sports, Nespresso coffee machine and air conditioning. Some of our signature rooms come complete with roll top baths for the ultimate in luxury.

The bistro forms the heart of the hotel with classic dishes made with fresh seasonal ingredients, served by attentive and knowledgeable staff in comfortable surroundings. The bar area is perfect for the smaller discussions whilst sampling some of the finest Champagne, gins or linger over an aperitif or nightcap.

The private landscaped courtyard is an enclosed area, ideal for lighthearted get-togethers and BBQs in the summer. The perfect place to relax and enjoy early evening drinks with friends.
