For over 30 years, Campden Home Nursing has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, end-of-life care in the comfort of patients’ homes. As a local, independent charity, they support patients and their families, also offering bereavement counselling and well-being support.
Highly qualified, registered nurses, work closely with patients, families, and GPs to provide seamless, compassionate care. They recognise the sensitive nature of end-of-life care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients during difficult times.
A gold standard of care is given which is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Extensive bereavement support is given to families, including one-to-one counselling in the privacy of its dedicated cabin in Chipping Campden. Group bereavement sessions are also available for ongoing support.
Children who have experienced loss, are given one-to-one therapeutic play sessions. These sessions help children explore their emotions and process difficult feelings creatively using play and art materials. They also support children anticipating loss.
Well-being is promoted by Campden Home Nursing through activities such as relaxation sessions, art classes, silk workshops, community lunches, gardening and even bingo afternoons.
Volunteers are always welcome, whether to help in their popular shop, bake, garden, support fundraising efforts, help on reception or with administration, or lend their skills to events.
The area supported includes Pershore, Evesham, Bredon, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bidford on Avon, and Lower Quinton— mainly in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
