One of the first events we attended as part of our #SummerOf16 in the Cotswolds, was the wonderful Summer Festival at Compton Verney. What a wonderful 3-day family event that was.

The annual Summer Festival at Compton Verney is a treat of live music, delicious street food and good old-fashioned family fun.

Among all the rest, we thoroughly enjoyed the helter skelter, the bumper cars, the face painting and, not least, the super fun hoola hooping.

The street food tent served up some fantastic treats – we tried the hot dog, the burger and the pulled pork wrap… A-MA-ZING!

Performing for the little ones were CBeebies Katy Ashworth who took to the stage with a whirlwind of singing games, banana dancing and fun activities for the little ones. Performers there for the older kids and their grown-ups were Kristy Gallacher, Simon Kemp & his Rhythm & Blues, Coventry Big Band and Chain of Fools.
