Campden Yurts is a small glamping site nestled on the outskirts of the historic market town of Chipping Campden, North Cotswolds.

1 large or 2 small/medium dogs are welcome in Buttercup Yurt only – please get in touch if you wish to bring more dogs. We have a ‘glamping with dogs’ blog on our website to help you check our site is suitable for your dogs.

Our central location in the country and easy access by road means we are ideal for reunions! We have plenty of parking on site and there are local train stations in Moreton-in-Marsh and Cheltenham.

We are not a site for hen or stag parties unless they are calm, quiet affairs!

Each yurt has a king size bed, 1 double futon and 1 single day bed. Rugs, blankets, solar and fairy lights add the cosy touch along with a woodburner with complimentary basket of kindling and wood. Your private bathroom is very close by and has an electric shower, flushing loo, sink and hair dryer.

We encourage you to have a digital detox while you take your break and so there is no wi-fi on site – but the roaming/mobile data is good.

If the weather turns wet you can make use of our indoor/outdoor room which is a large wooden shelter with seats and tables – it is an ideal space for eating, socialising, creating and crafting. The cupboards are stocked with board games and crafty bits and pieces for guests of all ages.

Our separate cook hut holds a full gas cooker with oven, grill and hob and has plenty of pots, pans and trays. You can cook up a feast as you enjoy the views of the Cotswold hills. There are picnic benches in the communal areas as well as by each yurt.

The utility room has a large double sink for washing up, an electric kettle, toaster and microwave and a fridge per yurt. There are large tubs to store your food in.

Campfires are encouraged and each yurt has a separate campfire area, plus a hammock. Wood can be provided as well as the all important marshmallow toasting forks.

We run pizza parties for guests using our unique cob pizza oven called ‘Bob’. These are fun events as everyone gets involved. We provide the homemade dough and sauce and teach everyone how to roll and top their pizzas, and then they get cooked in our very special oven. Guests just need to bring toppings of choice.

Chipping Campden is a 20 minute walk away with its award-winning pubs and tearooms, independent shops and galleries/museum. You really can pass a day just relaxing and exploring the town.

There are so many things to do and enjoy around the North Cotswolds. The scenery and landscape, the small market towns and pretty villages. We have National Trust properties, gardens, arboretums, castles and a palace all within the Cotswolds.
