We’re really dog-friendly in the Cotswolds. With so many super pubs, attractions, hotels, holiday cottages and cafes where dogs are as welcome as people, you are spoilt for choice when planning and booking your holiday in the Cotswolds.
Outstanding Natural Beauty… for dogs
Spread across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, North Somerset, Warwickshire, and Wiltshire, the Cotswolds is one of only 46 AONBs (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) in the UK and the second-largest protected landscape in England. The Cotswolds promotes country pursuits and animals, so it can come as no surprise that we greatly encourage visitors to come here with their dogs.
No reason to leave the dogs at home
The Cotswolds is a haven for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Walking in and amongst all the outstanding natural beauty, the area is absolutely wonderful for you and your dogs, and there are a great number of attractions and outdoor events that welcome dogs.
So many of our best pubs, cafes and restaurants welcome dogs happily, so taking in a delicious meal can be done with your dog right there next to you. Most of our hotels have several dog-friendly rooms, and a lot of holiday cottages are set up to welcome dogs. There really is no reason to ever leave them at home when you go to the Cotswolds.
