• The Lion Inn Winchcombe

the-lion-inn-winchcombe-cotswolds-concierge (21)The Lion Inn started life as a coaching inn in the 15th Century.  Over the years it has gone through many changes and played an important role in the village and surrounding areas; providing food, drink and accommodation for both people and horses, in a variety of guises.

Following a major renovation of the building and grounds The Lion Inn at Winchcombe has been given a new lease of life transforming it into a place that we would like to visit. Today, The Lion has a welcoming yet stylish interior with bar, snug, restaurant, garden (ideal for alfresco dining), 8 double en-suite bedrooms including a suite with its own entrance. All have extremely comfortable beds, their own individual character and ambiance.
