Individually designed rooms
Each one of Minster Mill’s 38 guest rooms is sleek, considered and design-forward – other than that, no two are alike. Dressed in individually sourced fabrics, contemporary lights and fittings, and mid-century furniture, every room and suite is complemented by individually designed bathrooms. With magnificent views of the River Windrush, the unique Feature Rooms all have a private terrace area, complete with log burner or fire pit ready for marshmallow toasting.

Guests can experience outstanding cuisine prepared with the finest regional, seasonal ingredients in the hotel’s restaurant, with handsome vaulted ceilings, original oak beams and an open fireplace. The Head Chef along with his team of highly skilled chefs produces refined and contemporary menus with a nod to tradition and exquisite flavour. Set in a high gallery overlooking the restaurant, the Mill Bar serves fine wines and Champagnes along with classic cocktails. At the hotel’s sister property located across the road, the Old Swan, is a traditional village inn offering hearty, seasonal dishes.

Award-winning chefs from across the Andrew Brownsword Hotels collection of properties will come together to share their signature dishes in an evening of culinary competition.
Minster Mill’s Head Chef is joined by the Executive Chef of ABode Chester to create a delicious six-course tasting menu showcasing their favourite dishes and techniques.
Each of our talented chefs will create three courses championing their signature style and guests will then be invited to vote for their preferred course to crown their favourite chef!
Join us for a unique opportunity to enjoy delicious dishes from two award-winning chefs in one evening.

Join our Head Gardener for a tour of the summer gardens before heading to the restaurant for an outstanding three-course lunch.
The day begins at 11.00am as you head out to explore the abundance of different habitats within the hotel’s grounds. Our Head Gardener will be your guide through these unique grounds, showing you the wealth of woodland, flora and fauna found on the 65-acre estate surrounding Minster Mill. Learn how to identify seasonal edible plants, find out more about the plants located alongside the banks of the River Windrush and pick up a few handy gardening tips.
Return to Minster Mill’s restaurant to enjoy an exquisite three-course set lunch bursting with the season’s finest produce. The combination of our Head Gardener’s horticultural knowledge and Minster Mill’s exemplary cuisine makes this event a must for all gardeners and ‘foodies’ alike.

Enjoy a day of excellent fishing along the River Windrush. The hotel has a mile of private fishing banks, with slow and fast water for exceptionally good fly and coarse fishing, and our experienced ghillie will be on hand to show you the ropes throughout the morning.
Afterwards, relax beside the River Windrush and savour a luxury picnic prepared by Minster Mill’s team of talented chefs.
