In the heart of the south Cotswolds, just east of Cirencester, lies Poulton Hill Estate, a small, family-run vineyard producing award-winning English wines and spirits. Founded in 2010, the estate has quickly become a leading producer in the English wine industry, with the wines praised for quality and complexity.

The estate’s vines grow on the warm and sunny south-facing slopes of Poulton Hill Estate where they grow a variety of grape varieties, including the white Bacchus, Seyval Blanc and Phoenix to the red Pinot Noir, Regent and Rondo. These grape varieties are carefully blended and balanced to create a range of award winning white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines.

Visitors to Poulton Hill Estate can enjoy a variety of experiences, including their popular summer wine tour and tastings, winter tasting events and more. The estate also has a cellar door shop, where visitors can purchase wines and spirits to enjoy overlooking the beautiful vineyard or to take home. They also have a beautiful and exclusive events space for private and corporate gatherings as well as their luxury accommodation space.

Take a vineyard tour

You can learn about the estate’s grape varieties, viticulture practices, and winemaking process on one of the vineyard’s popular tasting tours.  Following the tour of the vineyard, you will then head into our Cellar Door for a guided tasting where you will sample a selection of their still and sparkling wines. Visiting the Estate and taking part in a wine tour will provide you with a rare opportunity to not only taste their unique wines and spirits, but also to enjoy the countryside they were grown in.

If you would like to purchase award-winning Cotswold wines and spirits, the shop is open Tuesday to Saturday where you can also take advantage of their cellar door prices. Wine can also be enjoyed by the glass, overlooking the stunning vineyard.
