Perched above the Evenlode Valley in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, The Feathered Nest Inn combines everything there is to love about a traditional country inn with beautiful bedrooms, exceptional food, a cosy bar, and far-reaching countryside views.
The building itself began life around 350 years ago as a malt house before becoming a traditional Cotswolds pub. Today, it is a wonderfully welcoming place to eat, drink, stay, and escape for a little while. The Feathered Nest has just four individually designed guest rooms, alongside its adjoining luxury Cottage, giving it an intimate feel that makes an overnight stay here rather special.
Food is very much at the heart of The Feathered Nest. Its critically acclaimed restaurant holds 3 AA Rosettes, with Head Chef James Erasmus and his team creating modern British dishes with an emphasis on quality, seasonal produce and ingredients sourced from carefully chosen local suppliers.
Guests can expect relaxed fine dining rather than formality, with beautiful food served against the backdrop of some rather spectacular Cotswolds views. And after dinner, there’s no need to think about the journey home. Simply retire to your room for the night before waking up in the Cotswolds and enjoying breakfast the following morning.
