Eat well…

Our seasonal menus are locally sourced and created to showcase the Cotswolds bursting with creativity, quality and flavour. We focus on sustainably sourced local produce, and our ‘two-rosettes’ awarded kitchen serves the very best of what nature has to offer. We use our produce from the kitchen garden and our neighbour Pauline’s apple orchard across the lane. Our pork is ethically sourced from Claycombe Farm by Farmer Jane on the other side of Burleigh. She breeds happy Gloucestershire Old Spots, which are naturally reared, and the pigs roam free in a large local field.
We are available all week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and pride ourselves on our traditional afternoon tea, including a vegan and vegetarian option. Advance booking is required.

Of course, our service doesn’t stop here. The historic bar is a cosy, oak-panelled room and a perfect place to drink and relax pre-lunch & dinner. Here, you can enjoy our carefully selected wines and locally sourced beverages – many of them organic and biodynamic. A log fire crackles during the colder month, creating warmth and atmosphere. During the spring and summer months, our outside terraces are bathed in sunshine, and the front parades have show-stopping panoramic views over the Golden Valley. Lawns and terraced gardens offer sun loungers and hammocks for the perfect snooze. Don’t forget to dip into our Victorian swimming pool when the weather is hot!

Our 18 comfy and spacious en-suite bedrooms offer a blend of modern and traditional styles. You can choose from three categories: standard, superior and suits. They each have classy materials, country colours and an individual tasteful design to set the scene for a relaxing stay. Many of our bedrooms have spectacular views over the golden valleys or look out into our lush gardens. All rooms have TVs and Tea/Coffee trays as well as kettles. We are pet-friendly and love our furry friends to stay in our coach house rooms in the adjacent coach house building.
