The Makers’ Space is a new vibrant craft community showcasing the best of local artists and makers. We are passionate about championing creativity, craft and community. Based at Longbarn Village, a beautiful listed Tudor building oozing with character, the light and airy spaces lend themselves perfectly to all forms of creativity.
From photography and videography, to art and craft studios, sewing classes, retreats, events, retail, and even a dog friendly cafe, there is so much on offer that will appeal to all. If you are looking to learn a new skill, practise some mindful crafts, indulge in our cafe and retail spaces, or simply be part of a creative community of makers, there is something at The Makers’ Space for everyone.
The Makers’ Space businesses: White Ivy Florist, White Violet wedding and event stylists, The Banner Department, Sew Me Something, Chin Badger Media, and Talking Tortoise marketing and PR.
In a world full of consumption, there is something about the act of creativity; making something with purpose and passion, that allows us all to focus, to be mindful, and to connect to a deeper part of ourselves. The Makers’ Space allows people to explore their innate creativity, have an opportunity to make, play, learn and connect.
The Makers’ Space is home to four creative businesses, the Sew Me Something store (sewing patterns, fabric, kits and haberdashery), a dog-friendly cafe, and a The Makers’ Emporium. Our Craft Studio, Sewing Studio, multi-purpose Creative Studios, and co-working space are positioned in a renovated farm courtyard surrounded by rolling Warwickshire countryside. We offer a wide range of craft and creative workshops, courses, retreats and events from photography to dressmaking, ceramics to glass fusing, wellness to book launches. BOOK YOUR WORKSHOP HERE.
Our onsite cafe started life as a cosy, welcoming coffee shop. Open 7 days a week 10am – 4pm, we now offer a seasonal savoury menu. We have locally-roasted Monsoon Estates coffee, locally-made ice cream made from a herd of organic cows in nearby Broadway, and all our cakes are baked by three wonderful local bakeries.
We’ve got outdoor tables, and we love dogs! There’s plenty of dog walking to be had from The Makers’ Space, and we’ve lots of free parking.
Join us every month for The Makers’ Market – a regular event showcasing unique handcrafted gifts and homewares lovingly made by artisan makers. CLICK HERE FOR SCHEDULED EVENTS.
