On Friday 23 January, The Swan in Ascott-under-Wychwood invites guests to step into an evening of warmth, tradition and indulgence as it celebrates the life and legacy of Robert Burns with a special Burns Night supper.

Set against the cosy backdrop of a Cotswolds winter evening, the celebration brings together Scottish heritage and seasonal cooking in a beautifully curated five-course Burns Night menu, priced at £55 per person. Guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before settling in for a thoughtfully balanced feast, where classic flavours are given a refined, contemporary touch.

Haggis and Rumbledethumps

The menu opens with haggis, swede and crispy turnip, followed by a comforting Cullen Skink of poached haddock, mashed potato and cream sauce with chives. A traditional serving of Rumbledethumps leads into a nostalgic apple and custard cranachan, before the evening concludes with whisky and Scottish chocolates.
