    Compton Verney is a beautiful Georgian mansion which had become derelict and in 1993 was rescued by the Sir Peter Moore’s Foundation, restored inside and out and turned into an independent national art gallery as well as a registered charity, all created to inspire and entertain visitors of all ages and backgrounds in the arts and with it’s wonderful grounds, gardens and activities.

    The Compton Verney House Trust is a cultural attraction on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, one that will inspire you no matter your age, whether you visit on your own, as a family or in a group. The gallery is nationally accredited as well as internationally recognised and it continues to show some of the most important art exhibitions in the Cotswolds and beyond.
