Summer sizzle at Tewkesbury Park ∙ Back again for Sunday Brunch with a BBQ twist

June 2025 ∙ Back in March 2019, we enjoyed our first Sunday Brunch with the kids at Tewkesbury Park. Then the five of us went back again in March 2024 and, as the first time, loved every minute and every bite. And now, in June 2025, we were back once more, this time without the kids (they’re 17 now and rounding them all up on a Sunday is a near impossibility), and this time to try out the new BBQ-twist.

Concierge favourite
Tewkesbury Park is one of our favourite places to go, and not just for Sunday Brunch, for which they’re now well and truly renowned throughout the Cotswolds and far beyond, but for everything they offer. We’ve stayed over, we’ve enjoyed their spa, we’ve had breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and each time, we’ve had the most wonderful time.
Sunday Brunch for two
So, on this sunny and warm, if slightly windy (which is why we were seated inside) Sunday in June, we enjoyed a Sunday Brunch for two at Tewkesbury Park. This is a culinary experience that has evolved beautifully since its inception in 2019, but at its core, it’s exactly the same: Fantastic ingredients transformed into delicious brunch dishes + the most indulgent Willy Wonka-style sweet treat buffet to finish.

Brunch with BBQ
This summer, they’ve swapped some of the traditional hot dishes for a vibrant garden BBQ. This means delicious BBQ treats cooked fresh, complemented by an overflowing salad bar, ensuring a perfect balance of smoky flavours and refreshing greens.
All of this, including tea, coffee, and smoothies, is available for £20 per person (£10 for under 10s), with the sweet treat buffet as an additional “golden ticket” for £10 (£7 for under 10s).

Exceptional service
A write-up about Tewkesbury Park is never done without a special mention of the service, and on this occasion, it was as it always is: Exceptional! Every single member of the team was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful, particularly with our vegan and vegetarian dietary needs, which were catered for beautifully… one of the chefs manning the BBQ even came in especially to make sure the vegan burgers and sausages were okay, but they were far more than okay, they were absolutely delicious.

Elevate your Sunday
We left feeling happy, satisfied, and already anticipating our next visit. If you’re looking to elevate your Sunday with delicious food, stunning views, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, Tewkesbury Park’s Sunday Brunch is always perfect… and with its tempting BBQ offering it’s an absolute must for summer in the Cotswolds.
