Exciting New Concept at No 44 Brasserie
It isn’t often that we encounter a “new concept” on a dining experience that actually feels “new”, but when we were invited to the unveiling of the “stylish new look, concept and menu” at The Arden Hotel’s “No 44 Brasserie” on The Waterside in Stratford-upon-Avon, we were super excited to find just that… a “new concept” and a fabulous one too!
“No 44 Brasserie” is very much a social hangout in the wonderful town of Shakespeare, and the new is both basic and small and amazing and mouth-watering all at the same time. The menu now offers diners a variety of ‘small plates’ to share whilst kicking back and soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. What was once a really great restaurant, is now that and much more, it’s a truly unique dining experience and for that we love it even more!
The inspiration for the new menu comes from wanting to make dining more adventurous and social. The ‘shareables’ are designed to encourage guests to explore the varied menu, sharing 5-6 small plates between 2 people. No more looking at a friend’s dish and thinking you should have ordered what they did; menu envy is a thing of the past! And they do just that!
We absolutely loved our dining experience at “No 44 Brasserie”. We delved in and practically devoured our 6 plates between the two of us, every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented, unpretentious and classy and just plain YUM!
The food at “No 44 Brasserie” is, as it always has been, freshly prepared in the kitchen using only the very best of fresh ingredients. With this new concept of more but smaller portions, food is served to the table as soon as it is ready putting the traditional dining experience as a thing of the past, this creates a really laid back and relaxed atmosphere allowing guests to graze on delicious food whilst hanging out, kicking back and having a few drinks. It’s dining without the formalities and WE LOVE IT!
