Green Cotswolds ∙ Naturally Green

The Cotswolds, a region renowned for its picturesque landscapes and charming villages, is a testament to the beauty of nature. Its rolling hills, lush woodlands, and quaint stone cottages create a scene that is both idyllic and inspiring.
Now, the pressures of development, tourism, and climate change are putting a strain on the region’s delicate ecosystem and it more important than ever that we keep the region green.
To safeguard the Cotswolds’ natural heritage, it is crucial to adopt sustainable practices. This involves promoting eco-friendly tourism, supporting local businesses that prioritise environmental responsibility, and implementing conservation measures to protect the region’s flora and fauna.
By embracing sustainability, we can ensure that the Cotswolds remains a haven of natural beauty for generations to come.

We “snapped” this beauty on a visit to Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa. We came for dinner, but first, we enjoyed a stroll in the beautiful gardens, which include a vegetable garden. The hotel uses fresh produce from its garden in its restaurant, and we really enjoyed seeing in the garden what we later found on our plates.
