A historic landmark dating back to the 11th century, it has a rich history. It was once part of a manor estate and later became an independent flour mill under the Wilkins family. Joseph Morris Wilkins, the last of four generations of millers, ran the mill until 1958.
In the 1950s, the mill transitioned into a bakery under the Collet family. The bakery operated from the Mill House and later moved to larger premises in Upper Slaughter.
Today, the Old Mill is open to the public, offering visitors a glimpse into its past. The original milling machinery, including two sets of millstones, is still visible.
