The BFG Afternoon Tea at Ellenborough Park
What a super day we had today… first off to the cinema in Cheltenham to watch the brand new ‘The BFG’, the Roald Dahl story about Sophie, a girl whose life is turned upside down when she happens to see a giant from the window in the orphanage where she lives.
The giant turns out to be a Big Friendly Giant, a kindhearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because, unlike them, he refuses to eat children.
Then off to wonderful Ellenborough Park for the second “installment” of our BFG #SummerOf16 Day Out.
A ‘Scrumdidiliumptious’ Afternoon Tea
Ellenborough Park have created a very special, some might even say ‘Scrumdidiliumptious’ Afternoon Tea in honour of The BFG.
This delicious afternoon treat created mostly for kids (and big kids.. and fans of The BFG.. anyone, really!) and included some fun delights like ‘Frobscottle’ and the ‘Jar of Dreams’, one more delicious than the next and all thoroughly enjoyed in the beautiful Great Hall of Ellenborough Park.
We had a fantastic time at Ellenborough Park today and we absolutely loved the wonderful BFG Afternoon Tea.
