Hayles Fruit Farm near Winchcombe is 100+ acres of apples and other fruits.

The farm has a tea room where tea and home made cakes can be enjoyed while overlooking the beautiful views of the farm. On the farm is also a lovely and very well stocked farm shop selling the home grown produce loosely as well as in jams, relishes, ciders and more, alongside fruit, vegetables, ice cream, biscuits and other produce.

On October 12th, 2013, we went to the Hayles Fruit Farm Apple Day and had the most wonderful time learning about apples and fruit, going on a tractor ride and much more.

WONDERFUL PRODUCE – The Hayles Fruit Farm brand reaches further than to the fruits sold loosely. Many are also used to make jams, relishes, ciders and juice. In the farm shop on the farm and at markets around The Cotswolds, these products are sold alongside the fruit.

The fields of apple and fruit trees of Hayles Fruit Farm was first planted in 1880 by Lord Sudeley. For more than 60 years, the farm has been owned and run by the Harrell family. Today, the farm is run by three generations of the family who all come together in ensuring the 134 acre farm continues from strength to strength.

LEARNING ABOUT APPLES – The couple of hours we spent at Hayles Fruit Farm’s Apple Day offered our children a valuable lesson. The tractor ride around the farm while looking at the rows of apple trees and fields of plants and trees, listening to the commentary about the farm, opened their eyes to how apples and other fruits make their way to market and to our table in the best way possible.

DELICIOUS APPLE JUICE – There’s nothing quite like homemade apple juice and the Hayles Fruit Farm apple juice  is delicious and great quality. Buy your homemade apple juice from the farm shop at Hayles Fruit Farm.
